Description:

Displaying and encouraging both traditional and contemporary Latino art through temporary exhibitions, the Mexic-Arte Museum is the official "Mexican and Mexican-American Fine Art Museum of Texas." Previous exhibitions at the museum have included Mexican Calendar Legends, sculpture and paintings by Alberto Castro Leñero and ceramics by citizens of Veracruz. The museum is located in the Congress district of Austin, near Austin Children's Museum and the Arthouse at the Jones Center.

Hours of Operation:

Open Mon. - Thurs. 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Fri. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sun. 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Admission Details:

Adults $5; Seniors and Students $4; Children under 12 are $1.
