Complete with train rides, a concession stand, a picnic area and gift shop, this terrific zoo was voted "Best Nature Day Trip" in 2007 by Austin Chronicle readers. Located halfway between Austin and Dripping Springs, the zoo lies less than six miles from the Wild Connections Butterfly Farm.
