Arthouse at the Jones Center is the only statewide visual arts organization focusing solely on contemporary Texas art. Exhibiting innovative Texas works both at Jones Center and through traveling exhibits, Arthouse promotes public understanding of contemporary art while nurturing the careers of local artists. The center offers a variety of educational programs to Austin youth, as well as discussions and lectures on current exhibits and contemporary art issues. Located in the heart of downtown, the center lies just a block away from Austin Museum of Art.
